Depends on who the voodoo doll is supposed to resemble. If it is someone you like, give it to them. If it is someone you hate but don't want to knowingly harm, simply chunk it. Whatever happens, happens. IF it is someone you hate and want to harm, burn it. If it is someone you don't know, you are obligated to keep the doll until you can find out who it resembles and assign it to one of the 3 previous fates.

Wow. Nice answers. The question was half serious and giving the doll to the person was a solution i never thought about. And the keeping it answer was hilarious.

wrap it in white cloth and sprinkle with sea salt then let it go in a moving body of water, a river or stream. Or wrap it in white cloth and sprinkle with sea salt. then bury it with a peice of sweet smelling fruit. you can water it with holy water. in either case, you should say a prayer for its energy to be returned to the earth. Then go home and bathe well adding either holy water, sage, or sea salt to your bath. all three for good measure.
